Brady Eammon Krusich

BIG Update....

Obviously I'm pregnant. I'm just now at 20 weeks, half way done. It's hard to believe. Ian is stripping and staining my grandma's old furniture for the nursery...at a moderate pace. We (Ian) will be painting the nursery in the near future. The bedding has been ordered and we have purchased our Broncos and KU onesies. There is still plenty to do!!!

Ian has settled in working with Dr. Charles Kimes, some people didn't know that he switched offices. Things are going well.

I will officially complete my Masters program through KU come December!!! My official graduation ceremony will be in May when I get to walk the hill!!!

Christmas music is now being played on the radio, my fave! I would decorate the house for Christmas but I'm afraid visitors would frown upon that....don't anyone come over for a while.

Oh....and baby Krusich's name is Brady Eammon Krusich!

San Diego....

Here we come! Ian and I are going to San Diego the first week of August. We have a rental car and no plans when we get there, it should be great! I think the zoo and the wildlife park are in the cards, but otherwise we are at the mercy of San Diego! If anyone has any suggestions for spots to visit let me know!!!

Whew!

Here is an update on the Krusich's:

Ian and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We spent the day going to a movie, walking around the Plaza, checking into the Intercontinental Hotel on the Plaza, and eating dinner at McCormick and Schmick's. It was SO fun. Just staying in a hotel in our same city was still tons of fun!

I am done teaching summer school, finished one summer course at KU and will finish up my other KU course this week...Masters will be complete this fall!!!!!

Ian's birthday is this Saturday, we are celebrating by having people over, rain or shine!

Ian and I are headed to San Diego for an additional anniversary present to eachother, Aug. 4-8. Should be TONS-O-FUN!

School starts back up for me Aug. 13, yikes, where did the summer go?

The Nivens'

Ian and I enjoyed a nice, relaxing weekend with the Nivens'...including Mack. Sarah and I enjoyed some much needed shopping while Tyler and Ian were able to squeeze in some golf before the rain. Mack did a nice job of showing off his new training techniques. However, he did think that the baby basket that I made for Tyler and Sarah was a pile of toys and goodies for him. And thanks to Sarah he probably has NO IDEA what his actual name is. I heard Mack called, Mack, Mack-a-roonie, handsome, bubba, and pup. Step 1 Sarah, pick one name!!!!

We were excited to see the Nivens' before baby Nivens arrives......Wednesday's the big day for Tyler and Sarah. Can't wait to find out what they are having!

Babies on the brain.....

I recently had a shower at our house for Ian's sister Danielle. She is due the first week of August and they're having a girl. It was tons of fun and even better to buy girl stuff!!!

*I made the "baby" themed candy on the dessert table. I was thinking about going into the candy makin' biz...until I ran out of patience with it. It was a big hit :)

Roomie

Ian's little brother is staying with us until July, completing an internship with the Chiefs. And...this is what we do in the evenings. They play basketball and I take pictures. Life is good!

*They aren't that good, I just took really cool pics with the new camera.

Louie Photo Shoot

So....we got a new camera! He's such a good sport :)

My Fitness Pal

Thanks to www.myfitnesspal.com I am currently 12.6 lbs. lighter than I was as of 4/6/10. This website is amazing. It tracks your food for you daily, watches your calories, and guides you through weight loss. I love it!!!

Yard Work????

Ian and I decided to update the landscaping in the front yard...BAD idea! Not only did it take all of Sunday, but it consisted of 10 trash bags full of mulch, some borrowed tools from Chris (thanks!), a few minor arguments :) and a borrowed truck to dump the mulch at my dad's shop (thanks Chris and dad!!!)

Note: yard work is now optional for Jess!

Thanks, Tod

Welp....the new screen door handle is coming along nicely, thank you Tod! It only took 2 Miller Lite's, Chris' drill, Tod's knowledge and Ian's supervision. AND, I'm sure the neighbors LOVED the fact that we do home improvement tasks at 9:30pm, you're welcome :)

Louie's Sunday

We heard him crying, searched high and low, and sure enough.......I found him behind the washing machine. He's done it again folks!
Ian and I have spent the day trying to "fix" things in the house. Not a whole lot got "fixed". Ian went to 4 different stores trying to find a replacement door knob, we "fixed" the screen door handle with the hammer (still waiting to replace that), organized some closets and finally found time to sit. Louie, in the meantime, got a few naps in, fell off the back of the couch mid-snooze, woke up in quite a haze, then started to "help" us with all of the home improvement tasks. Ah, Sunday.......I could use a redo about now!

I'm such a follower.....

Thanks to Sarah and Callie, a new blog is born!
